Met office forecasts dry weather in most parts of country

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast rain in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours from 9am.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram division and at one or two places over Sylhet division with moderately heavy falls at places over Chattogram division,” said a met office bulletin issued this morning.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies elsewhere across the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sylhet on Monday, while Tetulia recorded the lowest temperature of 24.4 degrees Celsius today.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:48pm today and rise at 5:50am tomorrow.
